Posting this for our fellow CF Patient @Andy Lipman he needs CF patients to be featured in his new video! To those of you who have cystic fibrosis or have a connection to CF, I hope that you can help me out. I know that all of you have busy schedules not to mention for those of you with CF or those of you with children who have CF, busy treatment schedules. If you can participate in the Katy Perry Roar Parody, I would be very grateful. I truly believe that this is a way to reach more people to help them understand more about CF and what we need to find a cure. Here is the video we did last year of Billy Joel’s We Didn’t Start the Fire. youtube/watch?v=VyrqrjcPDq4 As you can see, it was very professionally done just as this one will be. The Video I’m working on a nebulizer video to raise awareness for cystic fibrosis. The video will be about defying the odds. I thought Katy Perry’s “Roar” was perfect so I wrote a parody for it. I’m also trying to get Katy to do a cameo for it. Here are the ideas I had for CF patients to submit pictures/videos for our video: If you’d like to take part in the Roar parody video, please send a picture or video of a person with CF. Please also e-mail me to let me know that you will have something to me by the Friday, 12-12 deadline. Here are some possible choices: A workout picture showing strength (showing muscles, etc.) while using a nebulizer. Using your nebulizer while holding up a sheet of paper saying “NO!” Showing a sign that says “Fighter!” while using your nebulizer/vest. Holding your nebulizer or wearing your vest and shooting a video for a couple of seconds saying “No, no, no, no, no, no” like Katy’s chorus in “Roar” that goes “Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh”. A picture of you holding up a sign saying “I will not be ignored!” or “Cure CF!” or “CF stands for Can Fight!” Please also pass this on to anyone you believe may be interested. If you have some other creative ideas for pictures or videos, please feel free to send them to me. Thanks. Please include with your picture the following information somewhere on the e-mail: The person’s name in the picture (first name and last name first initial only – like Andy L.) The person’s age now (if the picture is more than 10 years old, you can just put the approximate age when the picture was shot) The city, state, province, country this person is from.
