When potassium carbonate enters stomach, it reacts with hydrochloric acid and hence depleting the acid. We can say Mega H uses potassium carbonate to trigger stomach makes more hydrochloric acid since it reacts with hydrochloric acid to deplete the acid. Potassium chloride, carbon dioxide and water is formed when potassium carbonate reacts with hydrochloric acid in the stomach.
