Poverty in the Philippines has been perpetuated by politicians who perpetually plunder the countrys wealth for their own personal pleasures. They are completely oblivious to the plight of the poor except during elections in which they take advantage of the situation by buying votes; the ignorant majority who is on starvation mode have no choice but to comply to receive their P100-P500 bribery. Such is the vicious cycle of perpetuating poverty in the Philippines through our plundering politicians. Aquinos administration is by far the worse of the all the administrations in history and has significantly contributed in the downfall and crumbling of this nation. We Filipino citizens must put aside our differences once and for all so that we can unite and through that unity, form a new government whose sole purpose is to uplift the condition of poverty by empowering the people.
