Poverty tip: Skip one meal. Eat only twice a day. My style - wake up late and have lunch as your first meal. Research show that undernourishment (vs malnourishment) is beneficial to health. Not only does it helps keep you slim but raises life expectancy as well. The reasons being are still unclear. Its just what the stats tell. (Note: Not sound medical advise! Nutritionists recommend a daily calorie intake of 2900 kilojoules to maintain optimal health through a balanced diet.)
