Power Assisted Pedal Cycles Ok to keep it simple, if the bicycle has a combustion engine then it is illegal unless it meets Australian Standards (it generally wont) as a motorcycle and is registered plus all the other fun things that go with registering a vehicle. This would mean an approved Motorcycle helmet must be warn and not a Bicycle helmet as previous worn, which doesnt matter anyway because the power assisted pedal bicycle with the combustion engine is still illegal. See kept it simple.
