Power Of Place & Healing Place has a great power. Think about - TopicsExpress

Power Of Place & Healing Place has a great power. Think about sacred places like the pyramids of Egypt, Long Pine Creek in Nebraska, Bear Butte in South Dakota, Mount Shasta in California. The power of these places can be felt by all. Often visions, spontaneous healings, emotional release, emotional transformation, spiritual guidance and all kinds of amazing things can happen at these “places”. Most people do not think much about the power of the “place” they live. It is one of the most overlooked aspects of healing. If you physically sick or emotionally sick, how much do you love where you are? Are you longing for the mountains of Colorado? Are you longing for the warm ocean breezes of Florida? Do you long for the rolling endless sea of grass that is the prairie of the Loup River? If you are living somewhere you do not like, then it is affecting your health. The whole globe and the whole US is a medicine wheel unto itself - East, South, West, North and Center. Where to you thrive most is a certain place on the great wheel. Where you get your “medicine” or power is from a certain place. In native teachings, we work with different directions to bring out their power in our own life. For example, South for emotional transformation, healing the emotional heart and learning the flexibility of the deer clan. Where you live influences all these things. It affects every aspect of your life and family. It is macrocosmic feng shui. No need to do complex feng shui calculations, change your front door around or sell your house. Do you love where you live? Some places in general have a strong sense of being one with the land. I would say some places just make you feel not at home or welcome if you are not at peace about living there. We hear this about many places in the South, the Mountains of Montana and New Mexico. I would surely add Nebraska to those places. I have watched people for many years come and go in this state. People either feel very good when they move here or feel like a duck out of water. That feeling usually never goes away because it is something inside the person not connecting to the land. Places like this, we say the land chooses you to be here or not. For those struggling with healing, feeling out of place or unhappy, please do not overlook this basic healing principle. If you cannot move, please do not make the dangerous mistake of saying, “I hate it here. I just want to leave.” Some of these places the land has a power and ears. It hears you saying that and only makes you feel more energetically imbalanced being there. Simply change your approach some. Project something like, “Nebraska is a nice place. People are nice here. My vision is to be by the ocean someday soon. That is where I feel best.”
