Power To Do The Impossible! Many years ago I was in another city ministering. One Tuesday afternoon the Lord made a very interesting statement to me. He said, "Son, do you realize you are in a city with over 2,000 churches. Not 2,000 believers, but 2,000 churches full of believers. They talk about taking the nations and the world for My Kingdom and there is not enough manifested power to take the city." He went on to say, Jesus took 12 and one of them was a loser and changed the entire course of mankind. Jesus said the works that I do, you shall do also and greater works than these shall you do because I go unto my Father. When Jesus ascended into Heaven, He did not leave us without His presence or His power. He sent The Holy Spirit to dwell on the inside of us! So where is the power shortage coming from? We will never carry out the great commission without the Power! That power comes from one source. The Holy Spirit. You will become like the one you spend the most time with. Jesus is our example and He spent much time alone in the presence of His Father. Much of the church today is focused on entertainment instead of relationship. Programs instead of prayer and the Body has become weak and accomplishes little. Let me encourage you today to seek His face like never before. Press into His presence and allow Him to fill you afresh so you can reach your sphere of influence with Power To Do The Impossible! "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth," (Acts 1:8).
