Power To Plant And Destroy “See I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms to root out and to pull down and to destroy and to throw down and to build up and to plant.” Jeremiah1:10 Believers everywhere have a unique calling to plant heaven wherever they find themselves. Many times, it is easier to conform to what is on ground than to make a change. That is why you see believers who are meant to be the light compromising with darkness. Let me ask you this: in the physical, have you ever seen light and darkness cohabit? Have you seen light tell darkness, so that there may be peace, stay on your side while I shine on my side? The answer is obviously NO. The presence of light automatically dispels darkness; no matter how dark the night is, when a little light comes in, it shines automatically. If that is true physically, why then do you want to compromise your faith? The scripture above is a complete contrast to what most believers do; wherever you go, first and foremost root out, pull down, thrown down, anything that the devil can use against you. Let no man question your salvation. Be the example of a believer in word and in action. Where immorality is prevalent, pull it down and plant morality; where men lack the fear of God pull it down and plant the fear of God. If you are in an office where sales men don’t declare total figures, dare to be different. Yes it is so easy to join the crowd; in fact there is a popular saying: if you cannot beat them, join them; beloved that is straight from the pit of hell. Decide not to join them; you can beat them. No matter the number, I appeal to you, don’t join the multitude to do evil. Wherever you find yourself, plant the Kingdom. The world will not applaud you, but heaven takes full record of it. Don’t be consumed with what man will say, be consumed with what God will say.
