Power is Unity. As a Community We have No Unity, therefore We have No Power. Thank you Sham-Du Ward. With that being said, the time is now for Us to take control of the things of the things We can control. We came together to speak out about Our concerns regarding The Arbor Hill Softball Field and the issue with the lights, but that was the beginning. We are face with another issue Permits to gather in the City Parks. We have been informed that they have changed the process up and it looks as if We May Not be granted a permit for events that have become highlights of the summer. People from out of state pencil in the last Saturday of July and the 2nd weekend of August on their calendars as good times to visit Albany because of the events that are held on those weekends and the potential to see many faces they havent seen in years. So to take that away would seem as punishment to us. So here is the plan. We need to come out to the next Common Council meeting next Monday and make sure that Our voices are heard. We need to be there by 6:45 if you would like to speak, there will be a sign up sheet, 7pm if you would just like to support the cause. Both are important because We need a couple of great speakers and We need as many of Our People there as possible so We can speak directly to the Common Council. We have show Unity as a Community if We are going to reach Our potential as a Community in the Power department. So please come out and show Your support. Mark Robinson
