Power of Silence: thats why im da best/beast bodyguard(hahhaha) A man was overpowered by liquor that he lose control of his human faculties-noisy and makulit, in an ordinary occasion it will be fine but in the given circumstance it is intolerable and unacceptable. As always am, i play the role of pacifier: OBJECTIVE- to bring him out and get a ride to bring him home- plain and simple. In our way out i have to drag him a bit as i listened to his bunch of alibis of staying. I call for taxi and he is to hop in, but split of a second he decided not to. Maybe he need little time and pampering before he will go home. But the little time was prolong for two hours- he was repulsive and drunk-minded that he was getting to my skin- so i leave him alone hoping that being alone he will head home but instead his feet bring him back with a drama of getting attention of the little crowd. Quick and efficient i dragged him with force and purpose. As i was not successful in convincing him to go home i let my companion help him to get taxi- but they go beyond- he picked a fight with the taxi driver- fast as i can i get to them for i saw the taxi driver going for his pocket for something. Weary and tired- i lost my patience that i banged him in the wall- but my sane mind suggest of considering a change of approach and strategy- i sat on the parapet eyes close, still and quite but alert- he moves back n fort while delivering his Drunken Master Privilege Speech- very irritating but i have to endure- for i have to employ the principle of inactive/non-reaction. To add emphasis on my act i play drunk- and it works- he sat beside and help me stand up- naughty i am & to make things even i put my weigh on him as he walks me along- after a while he gets tired and we sat- again he started for his 2nd speech but realizing no responses he stopped- and voluntarily he asked me that we will go home in his place- still i did not react- his last card was to bribe me to go to magsaysay for a drink - still i did not react but in mind i was laughing (sorry boy di ako nakukuha sa ganyan). The last straw was drawn- tired of talking to himself he finally declared that he will go home- He left me- and after feet a way i secretly followed him- tentatively he call for a cab- to ensure his safety i get close that i was able to hear him instruct the cab driver the right direction for his home- as SOP i get the plate number of the taxi- and WEW thats it- objective was accomplished- for me my patience becomes one notch higher! Power of silence or inaction is far effective that brute force- guys try this approach- if u master this art of inaction (christian language equivalence: PRUDENCE) you can deal with any situation with better resolution.
