Power out in Bohol due to storm Parts of Bohol and Tacloban City were without power as Tropical Storm Seniang (Jangmi) crossed the Bohol Sea Monday afternoon. The National Grid Corp. of the Philippines said it is working to restore transmission service to Bohol Electric Cooperative II. Citing initial reports, it said the 69-kilovolt Ubay-Alicia-Garcia line tripped at 5:22 p.m. Monday. Bohol was one of the areas under Public Storm Signal Warning No. 2 as of Monday afternoon. Meanwhile, in Tacloban City, Mayor Alfredo Romualdez told radio dzBB they experienced a blackout in the city.
