Power zone with E word & Patricia...............Lake Malawi are an indie-pop four-piece named after a Bon Iver song. The band formed in September 2013 around Albert Černý (Charlie Straight singer & songwriter) with Patrick Karpentski (guitars, bass, vocals), Pavel Pilch (drums) & Jeroným Šubrt (bass, guitars, keys). Their music is influenced by Baths, Bombay Bicycle Club, Bon Iver, Beck, Coldplay, Everything Everything, Foals, Jinja Safari, Phoenix, Tame Impala & Teenage Fanclub. Dividing their time between London & Prague, Lake Malawi are now working on their debut album. They were introduced in a live session on BBC London and went on record the single Always June with the help of producers at Dean Street Studios (Alt-J, Beady Eye, Kasabian, Jamiroquai)...........
