Powerful Stuff Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD GOD is an everlasting rock. Isaiah 26:4 Dont always expect happiness in your life. There are going to be dark times, but remember that stars need darkness in order to shine the brightest. Today as I was awaken with the song, “He is Able” on my mind for the second day. This is one of the many songs sung by international singer and speaker Wintley Phipps. The words of the song are, “Like peering through a window, blurred with rain. Emotions run together in a flood of doubt and pain. We prayed as best we can; now we must leave it in God’s hand. Yet I know when my eyes fail to see, He is able. Even though it seems impossible to me, “He is able.” But if He chose’s not to move in the way we pray He would. Confident He’s working altogether for my good. “I will stand; behind He’s word, for He is able.” Questions seem to haunt you, night and day, how could God allow your heart to be torn this way? Does He listen when you call? Or is He even there at all? Yet I know when our eyes fail to see, He is able! Even though it seems impossible to me, “He is able.” But when the night turns into dawning and evaporates the wind. I will stand to face another day. “And I stand; behind He’s word, for He is able.” He is able! He is able!” These words bring tears to my eyes, and even goose bumps. If you’re going through a hard time with anything today, remember, “God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore you have no need to fear. Though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea you will not fear. Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. In this will you be confident. I have learned through all of my trails to lean on Christ, Becomes He is my fortress. He has promise to hold His people in His hands in a revolted world, and He intends that no authority shall be known in His people except His own. Today Kevina is having some pre-work in preparation for her operation on Friday 31st, 2014 at 6:00 am in the morning. After over six hours of being at the hospital, they have just called and said, “She is in ready.” We are waiting in a spirit of watchfulness and prayer. In the family waiting area we find much comfort through the staff and people in general. Even God came by the Hospitals family waiting room today and spoke to me personally these words, “Be still, and know that I am God, I will be exalted among the heathen, and I will be exalted in the earth. I am with you; for I am the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I will be your refuge.” What comforting words these where to me today. Upon returning to the hotel we had to go back out to get a coat for Kevina as the weather will change over the next 24 hours. Thank God we are back in the hotel. Pray that God will bring Kevina through this, another test. You may be going through a dark moment right now, just know that God is with you, and that He will be your refuge. Be still and know that you serve a Great God. Today may I recommend to you a song that will help change your life forever. It will not just comfort you; it will get you through whatever you’re going through. Listen to the song: Much Prayer Chaplain Kevin Santucci
