Practical Hunting tips by the RSO Girls: Certain things are a dead giveaways of a great hunter. One and a great one to be learned, they usually have binocs strapped on the front of them at all times. This enables you to determine if that buck is a shooter way before he comes into the kill zone. Many people make that decision as the buck gets close enough and miss the better shot window as a result. In low light conditions smaller bucks are shot and when people recover the animal they often regret shooting it. Binocs at arms reach or strapped to chest are a great tool in management of your deer. Anytime we see or hunt with someone with them we already know where they are in their level of hunting. Truth is every one that has hunted a long time has said wow, I thought he was bigger!
