Practical Study SHOE Taking The Shoe Off - Simple: Was a Do Not Trespass SIGN In the book of Ruth - Ruth 3:9. Boaz was called the kinsman/guardian redeemer - an honorable man..... He took his shoe off as an outward symbol to confirm or seal the contract of a righteous purchase and new ownership.... What does this really mean and how can we apply this to our lives today... 1. Boaz is being used as a sign to typify Christ being our Kinsman/guardian redeemer. 2. Christ is honorable and wants to buy us back from lifes situations and circumstances 3. Christ wants to be our chosen example of how He expects us to be valued and treated 4. Christ wants us to know the length He has gone to to buy us back..., that He loves us so much He has laid His life down. 5. Christ sets the standard for how we should be loved and protected.... 6. He offers us Himself as our Savior.... He said I will prove it to all the world... in the middle of town I will make it know how much you mean to me... (No Secret - No Concealment) 7. Buy Back Guarantee... From: a. bad decisions, choices and misfortune b. He wants us to be on the side of righteousness, joy and happiness. c. He wants to restore our value from the discounted clearance rack back to the brand new top of the line shelf (At the Royal Table - Taking your rightful place) d. He knows we once thought of ourselves as trash and He wants us to be restored to Him and ourselves as treasure... e. He wants to heal the brokenness and make us whole again. f. He wants us to be well kept and cared for by a God of honor and integrity Being Redeemed is not just about returning lost possessions. Its about returning us back to a rightful place of value and being the example maybe never known or never seen..... but today He says look at me.... Let me love you the way you should be.... and in the Natural you should be chosen as I have chosen you.... You should be purchased and loved so that the entire world knows of your value to me. That I will honor, protect and keep you (I will not throw you away, because I paid the price to keep you).... The SHOE: It was Levitate Law that now the new owner had the right to walk on the soil of this new territory.... It was a walking right of passage and possession.... Before the purchase it was a DO NOT WALK ON MY PROPERTY. This symbolized in the method of how a shoe or sandal was an approval for transportation.. A crossing over- Now You walk on this land (SHOE) bearing new approved ownership... Honorable: because he didnt try to sneak or creep with property that did not belong to him (Boaz) rightfully.... He would have broken the law if He would have taken Ruth in His bed.... when she laid at His feet. He heard her plea but did not dishonor or disrespect her.... But said just like Christ I will purchase you out in the open where there is no mistake that for you I will give my blood, my sacrifice, my life and love you in front of all the world.... I will prove BEFORE not after how much you are worth.... The value is in the cost pre-paid and paid up front..... This is a TEMPLATE for making a Heavenly Purchase. Jesus said you was purchased at a price..... but the value is in counting the cost..,.. Amen
