Practice Administrator Rush Univ Med Group Access Call Center Job Location: Chicago, IL Practice Administrator Rush University Medical Group Access Call Center Rush University Medical Group (RUMG) is a multidisciplinary physician group of approximately 460 physicians in over 70 locations in the Chicago area. Over 150 NPs and Pas are key members of the healthcare team. RUMG is a vital business entity at Rush University Medical Center and is one of the three components of Rush University Medical Affairs. RUMG staff work closely with the clinicians and practice administrators of all the expanding medical practices at Rush to achieve seamless operational performance. Overview The goal of the Medical Group Access Call Center is to provide exceptional customer service while meeting the patient’s expectations for access and service. Rush University Medical Center seeks to identify a leader who will provide vision and direction to drive access, growth, and customer service for our patients and families. The ideal candidate for this role will have a clear understanding of ambulatory practices, experience in call center management, and a strong desire to build a program and develop staff. Responsibilities • Develop and execute call center operational strategies; demonstrate innovation in identifying best practices in the field and implementing them in the department. • Assume responsibility for major implementation of quality improvement programs, process, and work flows in the call center. • Develop, implement, and maintain call center operations, policies, and procedures that are consistent with hospital guidelines and meet regulatory standards. • Evaluate and enhance call center systems in collaboration with the IT department. • Recruit, select, orient, and train high performing employees to ensure the very best in customer service. • Lead the staff to provide excellent customer service in all phone interactions • Monitor financial performance of the call center and collaborate with administration to prepare budgets. • Track productivity and call center performance by collecting data, producing volume reports, and analyzing revenue trends. • Utilize analytical skills for significant data interpretation related to call center operations. • Maintain and develop professional and technical knowledge of call center operations and management. • Promote an environment amongst staff that includes open communication, collaboration, service excellence, and a team approach. • Achieve Medical Group Access Call Center organizational goals while building and growing the program. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; Master’s degree preferred. • At least 3 years of experience in the medical call center field. • At least two years of management experience is required in order to lead and motivate staff. • Clear understanding of ambulatory practices. • Strong analytical skills. • Strong communication, organization, and problem solving skills. • Excellent interpersonal skills. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint). *LI-SK1 Job ID: 2014-0225 careers.jobsatrush/us/united-states/administrative/jobid5081004-practice-administrator-rush-univ-med-group-access-call-center
