Pradeep Gets PPP Bhubaneswar : 30/July/2013 With infrastructure development being given highest priority by the Chief Secretary J K Mohapatra, 1989 batch IAS Pradeep Kumar Jena has been given additional charge of the Public Private Partnership (PPP) Cell. Mr.Jena is Commissioner-cum-Secretary Energy and Information & Public Relations. PPP Cell is the arm of the State Government, which facilitates the infrastructure initiatives with viability gap funding. Mr.Jena, a hyper active mandarin will spearhead the activities now as the Chief Secretary Mr.Mohapatra plans mega projects in road, power, aviation and road sector. Along with the posting of Mr. Jena, State Government also notified the new postings of 10 young IAS officers of 2010 and 2011 batches. 2010 batch IAS Rasmita Panda is New Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Koraput, while her batch mate Manasi Nimbhal has been posted as Project Director (PD) DRDA, Mayurbhanj. Similarly, 2010 batch IAS Sudhansu Mohan Samal has been posted as PD DRDA Sambalpur and his batch mate Prem Chandra Chaudhury is new PD DRDA Ganjam. 2010 batch IAS Md.Sadique Alam has been posted as PD DRDA of Malkangiri, while his batch mate D Brundha will go on maternity leave. According to a seasoned Collector of one of the crucial and politically sensitive districts, 2011 batch IAS officers are really bright and committed. So after completion of training Arindam Dakua of 2011 batch IAS has been posted as Sub Collector Champua of Keonjhar and Samarth Verma, his batch mate has posted as Sub Collector Jeypore in Koraput. G Reghu, of 2011 batch will be new Sub Collector of Baliguda and Ashish Thakre is new Sub Collector of Chhatrapur in Ganjam and their batch mate K Sudarshan Chakravarthy is new Sub Collector Patnagarh in Balangir.
