Praise Be To Allaah. O Assembly of Muslim Youths On Facebook! Be serious with your lives and start planning the future of your unborn children from now. What you are doing here is not that real and assuring, and like I always say, Allaah will not ask you why you are alive while the facebook people are misguided (God forbid). If you were to utilise half of the time you spend here in planning what you want your unborn children to become, and this is by striving to become a knowledgeable and practising Muslim, being hardworking, choosing an upright and a righteous wife etc, then you would not have only planned a peace of mind for yourself in this world, but also, the safety of you and your family on the Judgement Day. Its sad, yes real sad how our young Muslim chaps waste so much time here. I feel it, especially that am a family man myself and I fully know better what it takes to give just one Muslim child quality education, Islamic and western alike. This brings to memory what Allaah afflicted one of our very good brothers in Kaduna, who also happens to be one of the best Quraan reciters in the state with. He has memorised the whole Quraaan with a number of Qiraaaat. In short, he is a master of the field. It is in person of Abu Ahmad. This wonderful brothers wife died about 4 days ago, just some few hours after she was delivered of her new child. May Allaah forgive her and Admit her into His Mercy. I decided to narrate the incident of her death because of a huge lesson I hope to be taken from it. According to a source who witnessed first hand her death, when it dawned on her it was about time, she dictated her wasiyyah (will) to her unsuspecting husband of the final hour. She requested the last favour from him, after seeking his forgiveness for whatever wrong she must have done him. She went ahead to request that her first child Ahmad, who is roughly 7 years old, and also in his final lap of memorising the entire Quraan with the strongest tajweed you can imagine, courtesy his parents, be assisted by his father to finish it by the time he is 8. This has always been her dream. Not long after this, she succumbed to the Malak al-Mawt. SubhanaLlaah. What a beautiful legacy she left behind, and what a handsome investment she has prepared for the Hereafter. Ive seen cases where a Muslim at the brink of death yells and cries that he/she should not be allowed to die like this. Innaa liLlaahi wa innaa ilayhir Raajiun. In this is a huge lesson for people who reflect. May Allaah forgive Ummu Ahmad and admit her into His Mercy. May Allaah also comfort her family, especially her husband and children, and replace her in their hearts with someone better. And for those of us still living, may Allaah rectify us to do the right thing always
