Praise Cardio Scripture Sunday! 1 Corinthians 9:24-27 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it. Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. So I do not run aimlessly; I do not box as one beating the air. But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified. I get so much joy when I read these scriptures. As an instructor I have to live the life myself set the stage for others to follow. I have to put myself in a place to win the race every time. Set my workout and meal intake in to a habit that is good. Have the self control that I tell others to have. This week I will be the leader I know I should be. I have been building a great (what I like to call go to notes) where I read them in the morning to get me going keeping those positive reminders in my head.
