Praise God from Whom all blessings flow! It is not a dream. It is reality! 32 years in the making! #excited# Thank you to my family and friends for the prayers, the encouragements, the swift kick in the pants, the perseverance, the LOVE, and believing in me when I doubted myself. The past two years were the most difficult, trying, depressing, breaking, discouraging, painful and tearful years of my entire life, but they were the most revealing, strengthening, re-creating, reshaping, determined, amazing, grateful and graceful years of my life. On the same day, I lost my marriage of 27 years and my career of 15 years. My world crumbled and I feel from the sky. Dazed, bruised, broken, hurt, confused, and lost, I merely existed for a while, but life has a way of renewing itself. Slowly but surely, I realized that I did not crash when I fell because GOD caught me before I hit the ground. I found peace, joy, Grace, Mercy, forgiveness, LOVE, strenght and courage in my Heavenly Fathers arms, which was reflected in the hearts of my family and friends. I went back to school to finish the bachelors degree that I started in 1982, I focused on myself and lost 35 unhealthy pounds, I regained my trust and confidence through therapy, and I found healing in the unconditional love of a tiny, beautiful, amazing chunckylicious baby Joshi. I learned to appreciate and embrace the opportunity I was given to change the course of the rest of my life and rewrite the remainder of my story. There are too many names to list but I thank God for my amazing family, my awesome children, my faithful friends, both near and far, my church family, and for LIFE, this great gift that we so often take for granted, until the floor crumbles under our feet and we learn to value every moment and to be thankful for everything, whether good or bad. Happiness is so fleeting, but my JOY is eternal. Today I celebrate strenght, weakness, courage, fear, failure, success, the past and the future. When life gives you lemons, find some brown sugar, add water, put some ice, stir and drink your lemonade. Lol
