Praise God .......i know alot of people have been praying for jordyn , Here is updated message from his mom .......Ok, its update time!!! Some big things happening. But before I get started, please know that it is not a good time to visit Jordyn right now with the ups and downs he has been having. There have been big issues with any stimulation. Whispering in the room causes monitors to go crazy (to me, its a good sign, to him, its not). WE HAVE SOME GOOD NEWS !!! And some not so good news . I have watering eyes so please ignore any typos. The good news (story included): I got to his room at 6 am and before putting my things down, I walked to his bed and told him that I miss looking at his eyes and that I missed his smile very much. I told him that I needed him to wake up and come home with me. I held his hand for a minute then went to put my purse down on a chair. I started to mess around with the iPad and saw something from the corner of my eye... HE OPENED HIS EYES!!!!!!!! He was not looking around, he just opened them. The breathing machine showed signs of him breathing some on his own. His eyes were open for about 3-4 minutes and he closed them again. He opened them one other time while I was in there and still no following just open. Late morning I am told by my mom and Paula that he did move his eyes around for them. Bad news: He had a seizure and was taken in for a CT scan. They have had to start giving him the profavol while will not allow him to open his eyes again until they feel the CT scan was ok and that he becomes more stable. He has moved back into critical status and will not be moving to Kaiser yet. They will try to perform the tracheotomy and place the feeding tube soon. Although today was big day, I am the happiest mom in the world knowing that my baby CAN wake up. That was a very painful thing for me hearing that he may never wake up again. Although we are not out of the woods and had yet another set back, I still believe that he can fight this and win. The next biggest fear I have is how much brain damage he has. This is the part that kills me everyday. PLEASE DONT STOP PRAYING! Everyones prayers are accepted at this time. Thank you to everyone who has added Jordyn to their prayer groups. They are not only praying in our area but also in Atlanta, Florida, New York as well as Italy and we feel them. #prayforj
