Praise The Lord Jesus. I have searched and researched the Methodist church doctrine and found no evidence or red flags of a cult. Being in 2 now will make one a lot more awake in relationship with Christ. Real love and mercy is shown through the people. There are no hidden surprises and only 2 to sometimes 3 meetings a week and we are leadership not selected few. The attitude is one of Christ and entering upon its meeting place there was no spirit of oppression, superiority of the air, (pride), no conformity spirit, no gender office problem and the most beautiful of all, no twist or out of context Scriptures. Women are equal as men and can lead as bishops and Pastors. Finally a church that preaches the true Gospel. I had my conference in private with her about the abuse. She also was abused by the church. It does happen. BUT only for a season that we feel the sting and learn that even those who are given authority in position can abuse, but God also heals so that we can forgive and move on and bring the Gospel of real love to the lost.
