Praise for Central Gippsland Health Service from a reader: I am not a big one for going to the doctors, but when I do its because I really need to, so after a long weekend of intermittent pain as a result of attempting to rugby tackle (all in fun) my dog early Christmas Eve the pain was that bad I needed to make a doctors appointment. Nothing appointment wise was available until late in the afternoon and the only thing left in the house for pain relief was Panadol and a couple of bottles of Merlot (lol) - so a trip to the ER was about the only choice I had. Hats off to the staff at Sale hospital. In a period of two hours I had been seen by the triage nurse (a very pleasant lady), given Panadene Forte, sent for x-rays, had been seen by a doctor (a very pleasant young man he was as well) and given a prescription for a multitude of pain relief and sent home to put my feet up and chill. I was and felt really looked after. Thank you and very well done Central Gippsland Health Service.
