Praise the Lord!!! God is so good!!! I just spoke with the Nurse and got a wonderful update! Thomas is responding very well to antibiotics and hasnt run a fever in almost 24 hrs..They are beginning to reverse some of the precautionary procedures that were done and he is cleared to start working with the physical therapist again. He is following commands and his pupils are responding. Doctors believe that the leak in the front of his brain is repairing itself and that no further surgeries are needed at this time! It has also been confirmed by infectious disease control that the meningitis has at no time been contagious. The good Lord definitely has been carrying Thomas, and my family as well, every step of the way. I appreciate all the support, prayers, and concern that have come our way since his accident. However, at this time we are requesting NO PHONE CALLS thru the weekend in order to get some much needed rest, this includes my Mother Pam Cooksey. We will continue to post updates at least once a day. Please continue to lift Thomas up to the Lord in prayer. We all know that God is in control!!! What a mighty God we serve - He is great and greatly to be praised!!! I cannot even begin to express my gratitude for all the support and prayers. We love and appreciate you all. Thank you for showing you truly care and respecting our wishes. Oh...the POWER OF PRAYER...
