Praise the Name of our Savior! The Christmas story warms us. We love to sing Christmas carols. The melodies get inside our heads and they settle down into our bones, And build themselves a home in our memories. When you gather with family and sing Christmas carols You don’t need the words to any of the verses because you know them. Have you ever gone to a nursing home to sing Christmas carols? The older residents don’t need the words. They remember the words. Why? Because the songs are a part of them. The words warm our hearts and lives. They mellow us just a little. They bring us a little closer to Jesus and closer to family and friends. And bring Peace on earth good will to all. Dont allow anything to dim or diminish the shining light of the heavenly hosts who told us of the great joy of the coming of Jesus! Let us allow the reason for this season to bring some joy to our hearts and homes.
