Praising the Lord for the GOOD news we received yesterday! I should have posted this last night, but I think the good news finally calmed my restless mind and I passed out on the couch as soon as mom and I got home from picking up the girls (from my awesome in-laws ;). While we still havent had another growth ultrasound (there needs to be a sufficient amount of time to let him grow in between measurements) to determine if he is continuing to grow and/or started on a new growth curve (hoping in a way that something may have affected his growth in the beginning, but he re-charts himself) and likewise we werent able to see if his chest or stomach are still abnormally small, we did find out that the results from the blood test determining if he has Trisomy 21 (Downs), 18 or 13 came back negative! Now we realize there are literally hundreds to a thousand different chromosomal abnormalities possible, that we havent tested for (would need the amnio to do such) but these are the most common. The ultrasound drs also said that he appears to have two clubbed feet, which are markers/signs for further genetic abnormalities, however they have a very hard time getting a good picture of them because of the way he is sitting, in addition to the fact that Garretts feet turn inwards anyway, they havent convinced this mama enough to worry! -Besides it will be such a blessing, if that is the only health issue he has! ;) Thank you, thank you, thank you to EVERYONE that has sent up a prayer, posted on here, sent us a private message or even thought of us.
