Praising the Lord from a thankful heart is the kind of praise the Lord wants. Coming to Him with thanksgiving is true worship and God says it has been missing from a lot of us lately. Counting our blessings gives both us and God joy. It is also a conscious effort on our part to love on Jesus. He loves it when we are openly appreciative of the many gift He gives us and when we stop to think about them all, we drive away depression and loneliness, lack and sadness. Thankfulness also helps our praise to really come from the heart. It helps us to praise through the storms we are going through and bring us into His presents. God wants our praise and we should want to give it. Being thankful to a God that loves us and has prepared a place for us in heaven is our reasonable service. In Christ, Etta
