Talking about the sequel, Jha said, “I chose to have a female protagonist in my film since it is a tribute to a female police officer in Madhya Pradesh, whose appearance belies her firebrand spirit. I cannot reveal her name at the moment, though.” As of now, there’s no confirmation on who will play the lead in this film. However, speculation is rife that ‘Singham Returns’ actress Kareena Kapoor Khan has been approached for the role. Talking about including Ajay Devgn in this film, Jha said, “Ajay is not in the film because there is no role of a male cop in the film.
