Pran sharma! The memories of childhood has a very pivotal space for the Diamond Comics....in the era where satellite television was still an innovative idea to be implemented..we as a children had something to bank upon quite heavily for the recreation..specially in the days of summer vacations...Billu,pinki ,Chacha Choudhary, Sabu, Raman,Raka,Bagrangi Pehlwan Rocket were almost the part of life we use to live. ..who could forget chachi having fights with sabu for the amount of roti he use to gulp in a single break fast..the computer se tej dimag of chacha Choudhary and jab sabu ko gussa ata hai to kahi dur jwalamukhi phatta hai..dont really need any reference. .one who didnt knew it in our days..use to be considered as boy next door typo......Dimond comics was member of every household..one in the hand..another beneth the pillow. .just to ensure no one else picks it up before I finish the one in hand.....Dimond comics is indeed a major event post independence for the country... for me an individual is not known for what he has acquired for himself in the life but what he has contributed to the society....... and Pran is immortal through his arts and imaginations!!
