Pray but teach your children/ females and males how to protect themselves. Im not saying this young woman could have prevented this. I am saying, PARENTS TEACH BY DEMONSTRATION!!! Always what if and equip them. You say you dont want to scare them...a cop- out on that one. Scare them anyway you can. It will save their life. I am not just blowing smoke. When I worked nights at TI, Daddy had to literally follow me around. He could not empower me enough. Had a released rapist after me. Daddys car could outrun the mans new car. But driving at 18-19yrs of age at speeds topping 130 miles an hour was deadly by itself. Daddy had taught me how to race with him in one car and me in the other car. Both motors the same. He literally had done this by the time I was 14. It seemed as if he never could tell me enough. I was shooting a gun at age 3. His teachings saved my life on at least ten times in 9 months. Did I get tired of listening to him? NO...I KNEW HE KNEW MORE THAN I COULD EVER KNOW ABOUT KEEPING SAFE. BUT YOU DADS HAVE TO TALK AND SHOW YOUR CHILDREN AND BE THERE IN THE BACKDROP.
