Pray for Immanuels Youth Retreat!!! This weekend, Oct 24-26, we will be spending two days focused on what it means to do just what the body heard this past Sunday, FOLLOWING JESUS. Only this time well be looking at it from a few parables in Lukes gospel. What would we like you to pray for? 1) That the Holy Spirit would anoint the teaching. 2) That Immanuels believing youth would be built up and made confident to continue to run away from the fleeting pleasures of sin and this world and fly to Christ daily. 3) That Immanuels unbelieving youth would be given new hearts to turn away from the allure and trappings of this world, to repent of their sin, and believe the gospel. 4) That each of our leaders would work hard to press in and engage our youth throughout the weekend. Some of Immanuels future husbands, wives, and leaders are coming on this trip. We need you to pray!! Thank you for the joy of serving Immanuel families as well as the larger body. - Pastor Ward
