Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem? Quoted often and greatly misunderstood; When praying for the peace of Jerusalem is a sin. Let us examine this! Psalms 122:6 “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.” This commandment is required only when these standards are present. Verse 1. “ I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.” Verse 9. “Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.” The city of refuge is now a cage of uncleanness. This judgment is present today! Jericho is built. Israel, is one of the major signs of the end times. But fallen into decay is now called Sodom and Egypt. Revelation 11: 8 “And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.” Israel is in a State of Apostasy Israel is in a state of apostasy because Jericho was built. Jericho is accursed of God and Joshua confirmed this, but Jericho has been restored, and is an active city today. As long as Jericho is an active city, Israel stands in the shadows of their apostasy, which is called, Sodom in Egypt. Thats why if you pray for God to bless Israel, youll be praying against His will. And many Jewish-Christians (as they call themselves, Messianic Christians) are praying for the peace of Jerusalem; and when praying for the peace of Jerusalem, as long as Jericho stands established, are praying against their own soul. A curse is upon all nations for this clever deception of Satan in the church. So, those that support Israel today are supporting a derision. Thats why the Beast (known as the Antichrist) will rule the whole world, starting in Jerusalem. He enters this darkness as a “redeemer” to this curse but instead brings all the earth into the most sever events of God’s wrath. Look at verse 34 here. In Ahabs days, 1Kings 16:34: “In his days did Hiel the Bethelite build Jericho: he laid the foundation thereof in Abiram his firstborn, and set up the gates thereof in his youngest son Segub, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Joshua the son of Nun.” He Built Jericho: The sin of Hiel reflected Israel’s hypocrisy This was a rich man that saw an aspiration here. He saw all these ruins there thinking, ‘ I can rebuild this’. But Hiel was not a man of faith and it was in the days of Ahab and apostasy was now coming to its fruition. “In his days did Hiel the Bethelite build Jericho: he laid the foundation thereof in Abiram his firstborn, and set up the gates thereof in his youngest son Segub, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Joshua the son of Nun.” Joshuas Prophecy The stewardship of Joshua said this: Cursed be the man that again builds this city, that when the city is built, Israel is full of hypocrisy. Joshua 6:26 “And Joshua adjured them at that time, saying, Cursed be the man before the Lord, that riseth up and buildeth this city Jericho: he shall lay the foundation thereof in his firstborn, and in his youngest son shall he set up the gates of it.” To pray for the peace of Jerusalem is again, assisting its hypocrisy. You want God to bless their apostasy? NO! That shows how dark the false religious system is in. Many Heads and uncleanness full of fornication. This means that the present leadership is unsanctified. And with so many ministers and divers doctrines the soul is empty of God’s virtue. It is naked being absent of Christ’s priesthood. The false religious system has its roots in these deep traditions, which honour man (genealogies) and not God who created man. The Abrahamic Clock being fulfilled: Israel called back into her own land is a major sign of fulfilment. And being called back into its own land, God did not yet allow them to build the temple. Thats not going to take place until the time of the Beast, as were nearing that time now. Everything is getting ready for that. The temple was destroyed and not to be rebuilt until the last generation. This “generation” will not pass till ALL is fulfilled! A reminder for us that God is using Jerusalem for this sign in these end times. Those born of the Spirit set their hope on the heavenly Jerusalem as did Abraham. Hebrews 11:10 “For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.” Those of the flesh put their hope in the earthly as did the Pharisees. John 11:48 “If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation.” Matthew 23:37-38 “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.” Set your affections on things above! Galatians 4:26 “But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.” Come into covenant and escape the wrath to come.#s8w
