Pray it Forward. Tough week, husband had cardiac surgery going - TopicsExpress

Pray it Forward. Tough week, husband had cardiac surgery going back for an aneurism on Tuesday. Just trying to keep myself, my daughter who is naturally scared together in prayer. To Keven Wheeler thank you for being such a good distraction for her. Yet it is Memorial Day,and although all of this came from Vietnam and Agent Orange, he will be in the Memorial Day parade, because he is the VFW Commander and he feels its his duty to be there. Memorial Day is not about picnics, and yard work, but all his fallen fellows. He takes it very seriously. Gotta love this guy. So please add him to your prayers this week. And for all the other guys at the VA who lost their lives needlessly over bureaucracy God Rest your souls. Gonna pray a lot for all those families this week that lost a loved one in any of the many wars we have fought. God Bless them all to and for all the people in my life that have been so supportive, yet I got my husband back- many many others did not. Some like Curt Schilling visiting the guys just to cheer them up. Pray for all those who have lost limbs, *my husband and his VFW group go to Walter Reed every year to see those amazing men and woman fighting for some sense of normalcy back in their lives. To those in need of prayers Jeff Easley and Nanette Faye Bartlett who continue their struggle hand in hand much like Shonda Schilling, Grant Schilling, Gabby SchillingGarrison Schilling, and Gehrig Schilling, like a clan of love. To and for Patsy Blackburn Brewer, Donald Brewer, Chuck and Shirley Brawn, Gina Leon, Andy and Jackie Brawn, be healthy and keep up the fight. To Beth Brooks, my sister from another mother who lost a life-long friend, my heart goes out to you. My thanks to Lori Brancato Pokladowski , who never failed to call me everyday, Chetta King Squires who keeps praying, Pat Kelly, Pat Mongan, Cathy Denise Arsenault, Denise Cathy Arsenault Adamczyk, Carol Agnello, for all your prayers and special messages, Carole E Santagata, Carole Vetto, and David, Beth Hines Czajkowski, Mary Freeman, MaryBeth Nelsen, Christian Nelsen, Kelly Burr, and Keith Nelsen who keeps the cars on the track, Joseph Gregory who is always trying to do the right thing, Suzanne Loft, Suzanne Lynch who keeps worrying about me, Christy Rameor Cairo, one of my low maintenance friends, Reka Athanasiadis, Kelly Ahearn Halstead, please thank you husband for his service, Alicia Wilde-Belinsky, Denise Charms, who is fighting on so many battles, hang in there, Laura Brothers who is letting time pass, and not letting the memories fade, Debra Iassogna who makes me laugh, Elizabeth Nassal, Frank Mollo-Hickey, Gianna Alberti who keeps thing real for me, Jamie Jaime Wright, Patricia Moran, Matthew Santucci, Marge West who struggles and struggles and comes up positive everytime..Sherri Morey-Knapik who fights for her wonderful son Derk on all fronts. I admire you so, Madalene Taggart, Diane Sorcinelli Walkinshaw, Nancy Rogers, my sister from forever ago and will be forever, Rick Petrucci, Ruth Barbieri, Merri Vacca, Brittany Squires, congratulations!! Rich Kovacs who just stopped over to help and do anything - thank you - to Pam Sheehy Mazerolle congrats to Cheyenne who looked wonderful and to you and Mike for hanging in there side by side as always. To Judie Cole still fighting the good fight, For my Special J who keeps fighting his fight and Jeff who is so dedicated to the cause. To Chris Pedersen who is helping his wife to fulfill her dreams, and my special sister Sue Kovacs who is swooping in with meals, knowing how well I do with boiling water. Enough said. But most importantly to all the Veterans here with us now, and those in heaven and those fighting at Walter Reed and those still in country and their families may I offer a humble thank you and God Bless You. Let our Senators and Congressmen work on bringing them home, not the name of a football team. Let us today especially remember just how much they and their families have all given up to protect this country of ours. I am so proud of you all. Saying thank you for your service is not enough Praying for your safe return means more. It is a shame how our VETS have to fight for the very benefits they deserve once they do come home. Write or call your Senator, or Sec Shinseki, be a pain in the butt. That seems to be the only way they actually listen to the constituents they are supposed to represent and that pay their salaries. That would be you and I. Its hard for me to pray for those I so strongly disagree with, but I will add a prayer to all of those who are supposed to service our VETS that somehow they get hit over the head with a conscience, and some common sense...And finally to the homeless VET, please do one random act of kindness to those suffering with PTSD or other maladies, that keeps them from getting up. Love to you all, Peggy
