Prayer Line! Please we want to take one more lesson on how through the “Meditation” upon the Word of God we will find our spiritual answers. This is true because the more we get to know, and understand the will of God, the more we become hungry for the Word of the Living God. I have written in my book the “Basic Principles” that through the meditation of the words of God we begin to receive the Revelation Knowledge from God, and that through this revelation knowledge we begin to have the Special Understanding of the Words of God. And as we begin to have the special understanding of the words of God, then we begin to act by Faith, and the result will be our faith growing or increasing…, and as we begin to develop or grow up in faith, then we begin to Obey the Words of God, and this is how we should become the WISE PEOPLE that God wants us to be. My son, be wise, and make my heart glad, that I may answer him that reproacheth me (Proverbs 27:11). Having said all this, we would like to start with this forgotten prayer, which is known as the Lord`s prayer (Mathew 6:9-13). And I want you to see that the Lord had wanted us to be the praying Church, as we can see from here where He has said, when you pray. This statement, when you pray, shows that there is the expectation that we are going to be constantly in prayer, if not, He would have said IF you should pray (V7). The question now is, why should we have to pray? The answer to this question is not what we may be able to finish in one week, so we would rather say as the followers of Christ Jesus we should have to imitate Him (Ephesians 5:1), and since we all do know what it means to be a Christian which in another word means CHRIST-LIKE. Therefore, we should search the Scriptures and find out how we should meet up with this requirement. 12 And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.13 And when it was day, he called unto him his disciples: and of them he chose twelve, whom also he named apostles (Luke 6:12-13). Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. and cast lots (Luke 23:34). Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them (Hebrews 7:25). Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us (Romans 8:34). Although that this is still an introduction, but we would like you to read meaning through this last words, and find how God esteems faithfulness. 1 Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;2 Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house (Hebrews 3:1-2). So we should now learn how He has followed to start, and ended up His ministry which was by prayer, and likewise the Scriptures were telling us that now He is sitting in the heaven at the right hand of God praying for us. How can we be so faithful to Him, as He and the Prophet Moses were faithful to the Father? It`s by joining Him also in prayer.
