Prayer Request: I received devastating news today that my poor baby has Hypoplastic right heart syndrome (HRHS)... In shorter terms his right ventricle didnt form and essentially will be born with only his left side of his heart, which will be enlarged due to compensation of the right side. A substantial amount of babies pass away before or during the first of three surgeries that are performed. Ive been in tears all day trying to wrap my head around what my poor baby will have to endure so soon after he is born, granted that he makes it past his birth. According to my doctor a substantial amount of babies do not survive past the first few years. Im calling around for appointments for second opinions in bigger city hospitals tomorrow. Prayers and thoughts please
