Prayer Request Please remember Tim Knisley as he undergoes hip replacement surgery on Thursday. Do Unto Others! We are stepping up wellness requirements in KidsWay in efforts to provide a healthy environment for our kids and workers! If any of the following conditions exist, we ask that you keep your child at home: Fever over 99 (must be fever free for 24hrs without the use of fever reducing medication) Vomiting or diarrhea (must be symptom free for 24hrs) Common cold from onset through one week Sore throat, Croup Cough, or Green runny nose Persistent cough Body aches Headache Chills Fatigue Unexplained rash Pinkeye or other eye infections (must be medicated for at least 24hrs) Any symptoms of childhood diseases (chickenpox, hand foot and mouth, etc.) Any infectious disease If anyone in your household is ill with the Flu, a stomach bug, etc. please keep the rest of your family at home. If your child is too ill to attend school on a Wednesday, please don’t send them to church that night! As flu cases increase, let’s work together to have a Flu Free JCCC! Meals for Wednesday Meals continue this week for our KidsWay and Lighthouse groups. This week’s menu includes: KidsWay- Ham, macaroni and cheese, applesauce 6:15- Check in 6:20- Meal is served 6:30-7:30- Class time 7:30-8:15– Homework & movie time (while small groups are in session) Please remember it’s $2 per child for supper and $3 per child for supper and Koinonia child care. Lighthouse- Chicken and Beans, Mac and cheese, pie for dessert 6:30- meal is served 6:45-7:45pm- regular service Remember to bring $5 for the meal. Wednesday Night Womens Bible Study Begins this Wednesday, January 14th (a 4 week study) 6:45-7:45 Upstairs No materials needed unless you want to take notes. We will be watching a DVD called, “Indescribable”, by Louie Giglio. It will take us on an image-rich journey through the cosmos, allowing us to peer into God’s universe to discover the amazing magnitude of His greatness and grace. 2015 Women’s Retreat Theme: “Who Am I?” with guest speaker, Sara Smith Date: March 27th-29th Location: The River Lodge at Hidden Mountain Resort 559 Lonesome Valley Road Sevierville, TN 37862 Cost for 2 nights lodging, and meals provided Friday night, Saturday morning and Saturday night. (Saturday afternoon from 12-6 we will have free time to shop, and hang out at Sevierville attractions or just kick back at the cabin.) Early Registration cost is $80, with $20 Deposit due by March 1 Final payment due by March 16 (Remaining Balance of $60 due) Late registration $90 (after March 1) Full Payment required. Sign-ups will begin this Sunday at the Welcome Desk after each service! Areas YOU Can Help Serve! Greeter and Parking Lot Teams: Handing out bulletins, helping visitors to find classrooms, helping traffic flow in parking lot. Sound Booth & Media Team: Help to run the sound system, power point and other areas of media for services. Instrumentalists/Vocalists: Join our worship team to lead in song and music for our services. Communion Meditation: Lead a Communion Meditation before our meal together on Sunday mornings. Lighthouse Cooks Needed We are looking for a cook or team of cooks willing to provide a meal for our youth on the first Wednesday of each month starting February-May.
