Prayer Response April 1 Merciful God, We come before You to give thanks for this day and for the people who we touch, and who touch us in our comings and goings. Lord, we pray tonight for so many who are so seriously ill and suffering. Father, we remember before You all who are sick on this day. Give them courage to live with their disease and infirmities. Help them to face and overcome their fears about being sick so that they will be able to be healed. Be with them when they are alone or rejected by family members who should be supporting them. Comfort them when they are discouraged. And touch them with your healing Spirit that they may find and possess eternal life,now and forever. Grant that it may please You to visit each of us who is lonely; to strengthen all of us who suffer in mind, body, and spirit; and to comfort with Your presence those who are failing with infirmities. We ask You to hear us, good Lord. That it may please You to support, help, and comfort all who are in danger, in trouble, and tribulation, We ask that You hear us, dear Lord. Please Lord, we remember before you all who are sick today and we ask You to give them courage to live with their disease. Help them to face and overcome their fears and give their families love, mercy and the courage to face their suffering with them. Be with them when they are alone or rejected. Comfort them when they are discouraged. And touch them with your healing Spirit that they may find and possess eternal life, now and forever. We are Your children Lord, and in times of fear we have the heart of a child who needs Your protection. Wipe our tears, gently hold us close to You and lead us Lord to walk without fear we pray. So very many of our people are facing death and we pray Lord that all those who have left come to Your mercy for forgiveness and will meet their families in Heaven someday. Lord, so many of Your people are crying out tonight in fear, and in loss, hear our pleas Father and guide us to understanding and to Your perfect presence of peace. Remember the unspoken pleas that are placed before you and answer them in Your good time as well Lord. Take Lord, the families that have been broken and help them to find a way to make peace and allow love to bond them together. Clear away the mistrust and injustice and teach us please to forgive and to be able to be a family once more. Bless the elderly and let us not forget that they held us in their arms to love us that we may return that love to them. And finally, bless the children, Father, that they will have their physical and emotional needs met and that they will grow in love. Please Lord take the flu and viruses away from our community that will not harm one more person, I pray. ThankYou Lord Amen
