Prayer Response for Jan 12 Heavenly Father, We come before You now in great need of Your mercy for physical and emotional healing and to ask You to guide us to peace as we solve our problems. We humbly ask You to send us Your healing power into our hearts filled with inner pain and hurt. We ask to surrender to You all of our unforgiveness, especially when anger and bitterness have been allowed to fester, and cause harm to our health. We know Lord, that we need to find peace so that our physical illnesses can heal too. Heavenly Father, we pray today for the sick and shut-in. We ask that You send Your healing power down upon them and make them whole. Comfort them, Lord, and be with them in their isolation. Strengthen them in Your Word and the promise of eternal salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Lord, the prayer requests uplifted here today are for intercession against illness, cancer, the strains of the flu, for emotional troubles, death, and unspoken prayers. We come to You asking that You protect Lord, those who lie awake from worry, those who keep watch over the sick, or the families who weep in mourning the loss of their loved one tonight, and give your protection to them all in this their moment of need, we pray. Tend Your sick ones, Please Lord Jesus. Bring much needed rest to Your weary ones. Bless Your dying ones. Soothe Your suffering ones. Pity Your afflicted ones. Shield Your joyous ones. God we ask that You hear our prayers for the sick in our community and for all who are in special need at this time. As they suffer mental and physical pain, may they find consolation in your healing love. Show your mercy upon each need given in these prayers tonight. May these special people who come to You find lasting health and deliverance, and with them, may we thank you for all your gifts. Lord for each person who has any unspoken prayer requests that we pray for, You know their situation and how much each one needs You and Your comfort in their lives. Please let them feel Your love right now to help them through the storm that they are facing. Let them listen to Your voice and follow You where they may go. Lord, be the foundation in our homes and provide us Your salvation, comfort and peace. Stop the hard hearted ones whose hearts are running away from You. Make them hear what You have done for them. Provide and protect our elderly and our children and those whose minds cannot think alone. Protect those who protect our country and see them safely home. Lord love us and be forever forgiving of our many many faults we pray. Father we ask these intercessions for help those in need, for Your comfort for the sorrowful and may You bless all who seek Your help and protection. Lord guide us to witness to those who do not know You, fill our minds and tongues with a good testimony that we make to honor Your holiness. Gracious God, may your Spirit give strength to all your people as they work and witness in your world. Unite us all in your truth and love, and help us to show Your love to others in our comings and going each day. May we always remember that You command us to love one another as we love ourselves and to spread that kindness and love wherever possible. Father, please bless the sister whose heart longs to serve you more. Please place a burden on her heart and guide her to hear the quiet inner voice that will bring her to the tasks that You have chosen for her to live up to her spiritual means as only You can.
