Prayer Thought of the Day: May 7 I know that my redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand on the earth. Job 19:25 NIV Job wrote today’s verse after enduring the most extreme personal tragedies one can imagine. Almost overnight he lost all his children, the majority of his possessions and finally his health. Even so, from the bottom of his dark pit of circumstances, he had hope. Job stubbornly clung to the truth that his redeemer lived and there would be an end to his suffering. Job’s redeemer living meant there was divine purpose in the wreckage of Job’s life, in spite of Job’s not understanding it. That faith is where Job’s victory came to life. That same God still lives today. He loves us and is worthy of all our faith!
