Prayer Warriors...I am calling on you again! Thank you all for...well, everything...especially your prayers! I believe 110% that my mother can be part of that 5%...because I believe in her and our amazing God. GOD HAS THIS. Copied from Mom: Well, I saw my other radiation oncologist today (I work with two). He has a different attitude than my other one. He said it is premature to call me terminal at this point, with my current good health and with me being symptom-free. He said he would not promise me anything, but his plan was to shrink the 8 new ones and then hit the original, bigger one with a dose of turbo radiation. It all depends on how the lesions react to radiation. They will do more scans at the end of my treatment of daily head radiation for 10 days to see if it is working and then talk again. That is all I have ever asked. Give me hope; give me a chance. I told him I didnt care if it was a 5% chance, that someone has to be in that 5%, why not ME? He said, thats right!. Now we have something to work with! We are also still pursuing other options. Sloan-Kettering has my records and the lady we are working with is working to determine which doctor would be best for me. We told her we are looking for a cure, not to sustain my life. Waiting to hear back from her... Save me, Dr Torok! You can do this even if Dr Yoo cannot!
