Prayer Warriors, I need you big time starting about 6:00am in the morning. Katie Jane suddenly needs her tonsils out. (Weve been to 2 doctors today to find this out and it needs to be done asap). So, our specific concerns are: Shes never had anesthesia before and Ive had a severe allergic reaction to it twice so we dont know how she will react to it so theres that. Then, of course, theres the whole Type 1 diabetes thing to deal with. She cant eat so theres the concern about her going low before and/or during the surgery. Plus, she wont feel like swallowing afterward but with diabetes we really need her to be able to eat/drink some carbs right away and frequently to keep her blood sugar up. The doctor wont give her prednisone (because it will wack out her bg) as usual after the surgery so there will be more swelling and pain to deal with than if she could take the steroids. Plus, everything heals slower with diabetes and she needs to go back to college in Boston in 2 weeks so we need fast healing - not slow. I would appreciate you lifting her up in prayer and, also, being very specific. Please and thank you in advance.
