Prayer Warriors: Our Prayers are our offerig to God in your behalf. If you would like us to lift you up to the Lord. We will pray for Gods grace to abound in your circumstances. Tonight I listened to a brief video on the Tole family website of Gary speaking his first words since his lung transplant. There had been some damage to his vocal cords and his speech therapist was certain his voice would come back in due time. How fitting that his first words were praising God and thanking Him for all He has done for Gary and his family, and thanking everyone who has faithfully prayed for them. Father, we rejoice with Gary as he overcomes another hurdle in his recuperation. This has been a long and painful journey for Gary and his family, but they have never ceased to praise You for Your amazing grace and provision every step of the way. You have breathed into his new lungs the breath of life, and he will praise You with every breath he takes. Lord, continue to bless this family, exceedingly abundantly beyond all they could hope or imagine, is our prayer tonight in Your precious name, Amen. “…this is the air I breathe—Your holy presence living in me.” Lyrics by Michael W. Smith Please be praying fervently for Amanda. Her family is reaching out to us once again as she faces additional health issues. “She was scheduled for a total hysterectomy and hernia repair, but tests revealed a serious heart issue. She is being scheduled for open heart surgery next week and when she has recovered sufficiently the other surgery will be scheduled.” Father, our hearts are burdened for this young mother who has endured the death of her husband, thyroid cancer and now other serious health issues. Lord Jesus, we lift our praise and thanks to You for comforting her and her children in the loss of a beloved husband and father, and for healing her body of cancer. Now we lift her before You once again. It is understandable if she feels overwhelmed or if she doubts Your promise of protection. Help her to trust that You are omnipotent and You will always do what You know is best. Lord, sometimes the things we can’t change end up changing us instead. Wrap her in Your grace and mercy, and in the divine peace that is truly beyond our understanding. Lord, we cry out to You for a miracle of healing that will astound the medical professionals and restore hope to this family. We pray fervently that she would be a living testimony and that her life would glorify You. This is our prayer in Your holy and precious name, Amen. Have no fear of sudden disaster. When it comes, proclaim that I am your refuge, your God in whom you place your trust. I will save you from the impossible places. Under My wings you will find refuge. I will demonstrate My faithfulness to you and those around you. The knowledge of My love for you will protect you physically and emotionally. And when you find this shelter...stay there. I will command My angels to guard you in all your ways. I will hold you in safety, for I am your God. (excerpts from Psalms) ####Please continue praying for this sister. “She is still in the hospital; still dizzy and unable to keep much food down. They take her to radiation therapy daily.” Father, we continue to hold this beloved sister before You in prayer. Vertigo is a miserable condition and movement of any kind can intensify that discomfort. Lord, one touch of Your hand can heal the infection and bring blessed relief. You told us whatever we ask for in prayer, to believe that we have received it and it will be ours. We believe that You have healed her, and we lift our prayers and our praise to Heaven in Your holy and powerful name, Amen. “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” Mark 11:24 ********** One of our precious members is requesting prayer for friends and their 1 year old son. “Today at 11 a.m. Emory had surgery to remove 2 tumors that have grown back on his brain. He survived his first brain surgery last year, underwent chemo that was devastatingly terrible on his little body and defied all the odds. We all thought he was in remission, but here we go again. One of the tumors to be removed today is too dangerous to remove completely and he will undergo significant radiation for several weeks. Please pray for continued miracles. Ed and Andrea can use your prayers of strength.” Gracious and merciful Father, my heart is weary from reading so many heartbreaking stories about children’s lives being devastated by cancer. Almost from the moment of his birth this precious little one has lived most of his short life in a clinical environment, enduring treatments that can be as harmful as the disease being treated. Today his parents watched as he was rolled into surgery, uncertain of the outcome and what that lies ahead. This is more than they can endure in their own strength, and they are crying out for help. We will stand with them and surround them with prayer and faith, trusting that as desperate as this situation seems there is still hope—and that hope is in You. You formed Emory in his mother’s womb, You created him in Your image and wrote the plan for his life before he was conceived. We are placing him in Your loving arms, asking for a miracle of healing and trusting that whatever was lost will be restored by the blood of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who died for him. May everyone who has been touched by Emory’s life witness Your miracles and lift their praise and thanks to You, in Jesus’ wonderful name, Amen. “Unto you who revere and worshipfully honor My name, the Son of Righteousness will arise with healing in His wings. And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture.” Malachi 4:2
