Prayer Warriors, you are needed. My friend, Samantha McFadden, asked for prayers for her best friends son, Isaac. He is only a little over 1-month-old. Please take a second to read and send up some prayers for this sweet baby. Ill post what Sam wrote, then you can read the status her friend posted. Per Sam: Hey team asking for some prayers for my very best friend and her family. She has a daughter that will be two in a couple months and her son Isaac is only a little over a month old. He was having trouble breathing about two weeks ago so they took him to childrens and he was diagnosed with rsv. After some scans they found a mass in his chest. They werent sure if it was jus a ball of nerves or cancer but it was causing his breathing issues. He was transferred to Cincinnati childrens at the end of last week and this morning he had surgery by the top surgeon in the US to have the mass removed. As u can see from candises post it didnt go as planned and it was confirmed it was neuroblastoma (cancer). I met this little man for the first time while he was in the hospital and cannot even begin to imagine what Candise and her husband are going through..not to mention their daughter has barely got to see them bc shes not allowed in the hospital room with Isaac. He is still being monitored for his blood loss and theyre waiting to hear whats next. Thank u all for taking a second to pray for them Per Candise: Surgery did not go as planned. The tumor ruptured and he lost a lot of blood. They were concerned about him bleeding if they tried to remove it all. They were able to remove 20% of it which was enough to reduce the pressure on his lung allowing him to breath easier. It is confirmed neuroblastoma. Wont know the next course of action until we get results from pathology which will be several days. Please continue to pray for strength and comfort for Kurt Schaefer and I and especially pray for our precious baby boy. We have nothing left to run on except Gods love and comfort.
