Prayer....can be so selfish and blinded for our own desires to fulfill. I wonder how our LORD equates petitions when we fail to see His perfect will? We pray: Oh, Lord, let me do that and make a way for me to have this. But You must weary of our personal plans and not one goal to accomplish. Oh Brilliant Minds we have...We think were so smart about the way life should flow and gain so much, What to do... fail to listen softly, follow closely, and be aware of Your Masters Touch. Oh, LORD, help us put aside our futile wisdom or what we speak so slow. Help us to look to you and forget what shallow thoughts we may know. Because, oh GOD, our thoughts are but a raindrop in a small pool, Compared to our Mighty Creator and the rushing water His power controls. lmp I was thinking today about how we want to do something and try our best to justify it as Gods Will. Certainlly, He blesses our efforts if it is HIS WILL. We cannot get ahead and be prosperous in glorifying HIM.
