Prayer for All People. Come! Lets sing for joy to the Lord! Lets shout out praises to our protector who deliver us! Lets enter his presence with thanksgiving! Lets shout out to him in celebration! Amen. First of all, then, I urge that requests, prayers, intercessions, and thanks be offered on behalf of all people even for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. Such prayer for all is good and welcomed before God our Savior since he wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one intermediary between God and humanity, Christ Jesus, himself human who gave himself as a ransom for all, revealing Gods purpose at his appointed time. So I want the men to pray in every place, lifting up holy hands without anger or dispute. For the Lord is a great God, a great king who is superior to all gods. The depths of the earth are in his hand, and the mountain peaks belong to him. The sea is his, for he made it. His hands formed the dry land. Come! Lets bow down and worship! Lets kneel before the Lord, our creator! For he is our God; we are the people of his pasture, the sheep he owPns. Today, if only you would obey him! The Living Bread. Amen. ( Ref : 1 Tim 2 / Ps 95 )
