Prayer for Today -Sabbath, 8 March, 2014 Mighty Rock, our sure and firm Foundation, today we boldly approach Your mercy seat because You have invited us to come and reason together, in spite of our sinful nature. By faith we rest upon Your every promise for day after day You load us with benefits; we bless Your holy name. Thank You for being our way-maker, our strong tower, hiding place and eternal hope, for in You only our lives find purpose and direction so our eyes are fixed on the prize – a crown of glory. This week we again faced the foe in Your strength and today we are celebrating victories won under the banner of Prince Emanuel. Help us be loyal to our calling and to remain vigilant and courageous, knowing that our fight is the good fight of faith and will soon be over for the church militant soon shall be the church triumphant. Continue to bless us; soldiers of the cross. Keep us within the ranks, for give our mistakes and every sin and save us in your mercies, as we pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.~R.b.
