Prayer for the State of Eritrea Africa: Creator of Heaven and Earth, we honor Your name today. O LORD, many foes have risen against the Eritrean Church…the government continues to persecute the church, and we are praying that *political leaders will hear Truth so they might understand the fear of God and humble themselves before You! Give church leaders the wisdom and knowledge to stand strong against the persecution, and protect Your people. As children of Light, we take our stand against the forces of darkness, and pray that the government will allow the Church to meet freely. We ask You to strengthen those who are in prison for their Faith in Jesus Christ, protect them and bring about an early release. Protect the families of imprisoned pastors and supply their need according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus, our LORD! We pray for the restoration of basic human rights and religious freedom to all Eritreans. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done in the State of Eritrea Africa, in the mighty name of Jesus, our Redeemer! *sim.org/index.php/country/ER
