Prayer is no doubt a special connection we have with God. Through prayer, we can be transparent and tell Him exactly how we feel. But sometimes, when we pray we ask what God can do for us. There is nothing wrong with asking for what we want, because God wants us to come to Him in our time of need. But today, choose to seek Him for who He is and not what He can do for you. Ask Him how to live more profoundly inside of you, how to help you portray the fruits of the Holy Spirit, and how to learn to submit more to His will. When we seek the almighty God for who He is, all our needs, and the extent of our needs, shall be met.
