Prayer needed – Please join me in praying for the missing children around the world today. Also pray for the families that have lost children. Please continue to pray that the violence in our cities cease and that we can live together peacefully and in harmony. With all of the evil that surrounds us sometimes it’s hard for some of us to be happy and often times we have to encourage ourselves. So many things on my mind; the next section is a collection of thoughts that I wanted to include in the same post because of the importance. The Bible says, Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength – Nehemiah 8:10 “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” – Philippians 4:7 “The LORD examines the righteous, but the wicked, those who love violence, he hates with a passion” – Psalm 11:5 “If anyone teaches otherwise and does not agree to the sound instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ and to godly teaching, they are conceited and understand nothing. They have an unhealthy interest in controversies and quarrels about words that result in envy, strife, malicious talk, evil suspicions and constant friction between people of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain. But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it” – 1 Timothy 6:3-7
