Prayer of thanksgiving & intercession from Maria Fiebelkorn: Lord God our Father we pray the prayers of our hearts for our own children, ourselves, and all our family members and all those Your Holy Spirit leads us to. Father God, we thank You for all You have done in and through us over not just this past year but all the years of our lives. We thank You that the children of Your servants (we are Your servants) will remain in Your Presence and their descendants will be established before You, LORD GOD! (Psalm 102:25-28). We thank You, Father God for all Your Mercies, all Your Protection and Provision, and we plead the Blood of Jesus over us. Let no weapon formed against us prosper and every condemning word spoken against shall be shown to be in the wrong. Deliver us all from the evil one and evildoers that come against us, in Jesus Holy and Mighty Name we pray. Father God, we pray for the good of our own nation and thank You for Your promise that You will not give us more than we can bear. You have promised to lift us out of our grief and despair. You have promised to restore our souls. Today and every day we pray for those who mourn and thank You for sustaining all of us in our days of sorrow. Father God, we pray for Your Church and thank You for all the good Your Church has done in 2014 and ask and pray that they will arise in Holy Boldness and cause Your and our enemies to scatter, in Jesus Holy and Mighty Name. Father God, today the end of 2014, we thank You for all the good our Executive Branch of Government has done and we pray that Your guidance and wisdom will be theirs in 2015. We thank You for all the good our Legislative Branch of Government has done in 20214, and pray that Your guidance and wisdom will be theirs in 2015. We also pray with thanksgiving for the Judicial Branch of Government and thank You for all the good they have done in 2014 and pray that in 2015 Your guidance and wisdom will be theirs as well. Father God, we thank You for our Military and their Families, for the Chaplains and their Families, for the Local Law enforcement and their families, and we pray that You protect those who uphold the law and call to account those who cause others to break the law. We thank You for all those who labor to make a living and their families. We thank You for those who labor and can no longer be in the workforce due to circumstances beyond their control. We pray and ask that honesty and equity will be in the lives of those who decide who gets help and needs it and who can be rehabilitated to work part time. Father God, we pray for the medical profession and ask Your guidance and wisdom in all they do to help the sick heal. Father God each person is accountable to You and we thank You that You are the just and merciful Judge of all things. We ask and pray that You protect us from those who come to kill, steal, and destroy and round them up like the tares satan sowed among the fruitful wheat for they are only fit for burning, lest they destroy those who love you and obey You. May we trust You always and praise You forever. In Jesus Holy and Mighty Name we pray and welcome the year 2015 with You, LORD GOD! ONE NATION UNDER GOD WE PRAY TO REMAIN! JESUS CHRIST IS LORD OVER THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND ALL ITS PEOPLE! Amen!
